I want to jailbreak my ipod touch 4.2.1, but there's gonna be an upgrade for 4.3 in a couple of weeks. If I jailbreak now, will i have to jailbreak it AGAIN for 4.3?

Edit:
For the Wait option, ignore the 'you' part. I accidentally hit enter before i could erase it :p

I think it depends on the gen of your device and the jailbreak you use. Whats your benefit to jail breaking? I'm not knocking you for doing it. I used to use one. but the majority of what I used a jailbreak for was added into iOS4. and the other stuff normally messed up my device. So really whats your planned use. I did like tethering my phone for free I do wish I had that.

there is still A LOT of advantage if you JB
example:better typing system, faster speed, you don't need to press the home button to go back to the menu etc

I'm closing this. It's pretty tame, but we don't want to have jailbreaking discussions about on these forums. Technically it's legal, but we don't want to jeopardize the relationship the GS folks have with Apple. There are plenty of other places out there on the internet to talk about it. Let's keep these forums related to game development
