Sound Effects App

Hey everyone, do any of you know of an iPhone or iPad app that can render simple sound effects. I remember someone mentioning a sound effects app they used that was free on the App Store a while back, but I can't remember the name of the app. Any ideas? Thanks.

you can download sfxr for free, that will give you 8bit sound effects, like an old NES game.
