How often do you update your app or game?

Hey gang,
I've snooped around in various marketing books and came across one that listed a table regarding updates.
The data is about a year old (the book was published in early 2010) and about 50% of developers, update once a day, followed by another huge junk who update once a week.
I did not know that and am puzzled by such a statistic!

When you updated an app, it *used* to go to the top of the new release schedule.
This is fortunately no longer the case!
As to 'standard' updates - it depends on the game. If I can find the time, I always try and update my older titles as new stuff comes along in GS - just as a sense of pride!
Other titles demand more regular updates - Air Supply came out on Friday. I'm testing a build now that will fix a few bugs, but more importantly add more content.

Insight from those who have walked the walk is gold worth.
At the beginning, the main worry is "how" to make an app?
Once that is solved, it's all about "what" to put in an app?
Once that is cleared up it's about "help" can I do this? How do I do this?
Then it gets even harder. Get it to Apple which is harder than each of the previous steps combined!
Then it's the waiting game .....
And some more waiting while the work is being reviewed.
Then the biggest reality check kicks in as sales numbers begin to surface.
Then it's time to go back and apply what you have learned which means, in my experience, to rewrite the app in a more efficient way.
I feel my experience developing apps is now completed. I've been there, done that.
While cranking out one app after the other is fun, when it comes time to update the weaker ones .... It's a new ball game!
