Hey guys, I thought I'd suggest some iPad art apps that I personally use for all my artwork. I know there are a ton of art apps out there so I'd thought I'd share some that I love.

Sketchbook Pro- This is the main one I use if I want an image closest to photoshop (ie. not vector based). It is very robust and has provided me with some amazing artwork. I have used this program many times and find it one of the easiest ones to manipulate. There are a ton of different brushes that allow users to be very creative with their artwork. Great program and highly recommended!

Brushes and ArtStudio (2 different ones)- These, like Sketchbook are not vector based and fall along the lines of photoshop. I find both of these 2 programs awesome but I feel that Sketchbook pro is a little easier to use... With that said, Art Studio has had a lot of updates and continues to provide me with a fantastic 2nd choice for my photoshop art. One other cool thing about artstudio is the ability to customize your canvas size for your drawings. Brushes features some filter effects that are currently not found in sketchbook pro. Sketchbook also does not feature a customizable canvas so keep that in mind.

MiniDraw HD- If you can get used to this one, this is probably my most used program.... I LOVE this VECTOR BASED program and has provided me with some awesome looking, clean cut artwork that has produced fantastic results. This one has a steep learning curve due to the fact that there is limited tutorials but this is a powerful program.. Only drawback to this one is that there is no landscape mode for your canvas so you are stuck doing everything in portrait mode.... Again, highly recommended once you get used to it.

IDraw- another great VECTOR BASED program that may take over Mini Draw as my most used program....once I get used to it... This program does have a customizable canvas which has proved to be very useful and features a pen tool which allows artists to free hand draw their drawings and then converts them into a vector based design.

Inspire Pro-I have no idea why I bought this... I think I may have used this once but I never really use it.... This seems like a strictly "painters" app...

That's it I guess. Let me know if anyone has any questions and head to my site http://garylovestodraw.wordpress.com/iphone-images/ if you want to see these programs at work.. Thanks!
