how long on average does it take Apple to accept an app?

I sent off my app (thanks to everyone here for helping ) and I was curious as to how long it takes to be accepted?

also updates.. does it take just as long to accept updates or not?

I heard it takes 8-10 days to accept an app, and if it takes equally as long to accept an update that's just ridiculous!

I got this in an email straight from apple a few days ago, so here you go

"Based on the current volume of app submissions, 75% of applications and 91% are app updates being approved within 7 days (as of last update March 3, 2011)

It depends. It can take as few as 3 days, or as long as 2 weeks. Usually about 7 days, though. And yes, the same thing goes for updates, unless you request an expedited review, which you only get like one of those a year or something.

Once an App has changed from "waiting for review" to "in review" how much longer does it typically take?

I was "waiting for review" for over a week and just went into review on Saturday.

Very excited (and anxious) as this is my first App.

1-3 days once it's in review.

it took 10 days from submitting to approval for mine that was approved on the march 9th.

How about launching a lite version as well.can you send them at the same time or they have to be submitted as 2 different apps???

Last submission on 2/27/11 took 7 days waiting, 1 day in review. Followed by an update which was 7 days waiting, 2 hours in review.
