Can someone explain the GS Viewer app process?

I just have a couple of questions about the viewer app as I want to be able to test my game on my ipod touch. So the viewer is just an app, correct? I would just load that onto my device and make sure I have an ADC membership etc. (I am sure all of this is explained when I sign up for GS viewer).

Now what if I work on several different macs? I have a mini at home, a macbook that I occasionally use (from work) and my macpro workstation. Is there anything i need to worry about? What is the exact process of going from GS to a device?

Thanks
Bill

    i had a nightmare trying to install the gamesalad viewer last night until some helpful guys on here sorted me out. Basically when you sign up to both (ADC and GS) there is a wiki to follow which is very good, when you login t GS with your membership you download the GS viewer. You will already have the apple sdk and xcode installed. Open up the GS Viewer's xcode project and change a few settings (all explained in the wiki), then hit build and run with your iphone connected to mac and it installs it on your device, however, mine still wasnt working, you can read my problems and resolution here;

    Once that is installed you need to start GS, launch the GS viewer on your iphone/touch and then out of no where a new buuton appears saying preview on iphone. Hit that and job done, it really is amazing. As for swapping around machines, i havent tested but think you would need GS installed on all machines, login as you and laung G viewer on your touch. Aslong as you are on the same wi-fi connection you should be fine.
    hope that helps
