Commercial images? Where to buy images?

Which of these sites can be used for commercial use?

I am looking to buy vector images for a commercial game app. I'm not sure how to find out whether these sites are for commericial use, or personal, or whatever? Where can I buy images for a game I want to sell?

    Most of the stock sites will allow for some type of commercial use. You will just have to read the licensing for each site. If you are in doubt contact the site

    Here's my problem: I go here:

    And click on "Terms of Use." But nowhere does it even use the word "commercial." Does this mean I can't use it in something I'm going to sell? Does it mean I can?

    I'm one confused newbie... :)

    The person who owns that site explicitly says that any art you upload to his site. Can be used for anything. Any art uploaded to his site is in all ways copyright free. You the artist uploading images are the ones responsible for knowing your uploaded work is free for any use. This site puts the responsibility more on the artist uploading the art. Than the person worried about downloading it for a paticular use. Basically you the artist better not put anything on that site that you might want to get some type of royalties or profit from. You put it here...... its no longer yours.

    Now it does state that the user is not allowed to use the art in any pornographic, deragatory way.

    No, it's not, Sparkyidr. I am so confused with all the different licenses, terms, etc.

    The site I was refering to earlier was clkr.com The other sites are the opposite. Your stand a better chance not having any complications if you get your art at clkr.com

    No matter what site you want to get images from.

    1: Call the sites licensing Department
    2: Explain to them the type of use you have planned for said image(s).
    3: Ask them what license is required for that type of use.
    4:If you dont like the pricing. Ask for contact info on the artist providing said image(s).
    5: Contact artist and work with him/her and bypass the middleman altogether.

    best prices for small images ($1) and the license allow use within software and games.

    I also contacted one of the artist for a custom are and price was very good as long as it was not exclusive.
