when opening a png in preview it always adds '1' to the dimension any ideas

i have my artboard at say 200 x 200 but when i hit get info i says the dimension is 201 x 201 any ideas whats happening here ?

how are you making the pngs?
Can't think why its doing it, unless the software you are using to make it is doing it wrong by a tiny amount so in info its rounding up to 201...

Are you using illustrator?
it's something to do with the artboards in illustrator apparently.
We just had the same prob, so ended up exporting from illustrator, into photoshop, and then save the png. That seemed to solve it for us.

are you working in CS5?
also just worked out if you make your artboard 319x479 instead of 320x480 preview adds 1 and you get the desiered dimensions

Play around with the DPI and see what that does.
