Resizing Images ?

Hello all.....I am aware that my images should be powers of 8 (i.e. 8x8, 16x16, etc.) My question is can you resize them to powers of 8 within Gamesalad and have it work like it should? The problem is I didn't import them as powers of 8, I just selected the actor and changed the size there to whatever power of 8 I needed. WIll this still get the same crisp image effect? Or do I need to resize them in photoshop and reimport them?

    Not sure where you got powers of 8. Your images should be multiples of of 4 and thats the actual image size you import. and then the actors should be sized as an even number. if you will make your actors even numbers then creating your art to be double should give you your multiple of 4. GameSalad will not resize your image files to match the actors
