I agree with Gs that should work.

when you say "duplicate the image' do you mean duplicate the png and make a new actor with the same rules

    OR

just duplicate the actor and use the new actor ?

    cheers

Ive tryed that to no avail same problem, ive also tryed it by creating a new game with nothing in it and building the actor into it. what else could i do to get it to work?

what ive noticed is that on the leading edge of the player ie. if the players moving left then the left edge gets kinda wobly when its moving

ive drawn the character in illustrator exported at 72dpi png

any ideas on how i could resolve?

    cheers

sorry i cant take a screen shot while moveing the character

so instead of 152 what should i use 150?

thanks tshirtbooth but then 300>150>75>37.5 .. 37.5 isnt even

    IVE FOUND SOMETHING INTRESTING...

in the template game 'alien conquerors' you can see when you go to new when you open up GS. the spaceship that you control in this game has the same problem as my actor as you move it left to right, it kind of judders on the leading edge...

also as for the image size dose it only need to be divided once to an even number ie. 300>150 would be ok??

appreciate all the help so far!

go with 160 like i said, so the image size would be 320 for r.i
