I actually find looking up chart history and finding sales stats fun...! A friend was asking if there was a way to actually know what the chart positions actually meant on the appstore in terms of sales. Although you can guess by looking at examples you know the sales data of, you're still just guessing.
So I thought I'd start noting down the daily chart position + how many people were on the 'all time' section of leaderboards for a game i just bought - speedball 2. Maybe some people won't connect to the internet (ipods?) but it should give a good idea of how many people bought it.
Will post the results after a week - its doing ok in the european charts but not is the US. So if anyone wants to contribute to this post by noting down the chart positions and total daily learderboard members for a game doing well in the US...
