If I were you, I'd check before using it
You cant copyright a word. There is a company that was sending out letters demanding people get rid of the doodle names in their Game, but I don't see any grounds to comply with such a request. doodle is a style. If they were going to trademark "doodle" they would have had to do it when they made the very first doodle game. A good example of this is asprin. Asprin was originally a brand name but because they did nothing to protect their brand it became a household name for all painkiller using that ingredient. Thats why many brand make "asprin" now. Jello is a good example on the other end. Obviously anytime you see gelatin you call it jello. But jello is able to protect their name because on every box it says "Jello brand Gelatin"
Just thought I would throw out that little tid bit of info for anyone making doodle games. I personally wouldn't worry about any letters demanding a name change. as there reasoning will be BS.
