Hi,

For my next game I need some complicated mazes, something I'm really not good at so I tried to post a job on Freelancer hoping to find someone professional but I'm not convinced.

So I thought to ask also here. Obviously this will be a paid job. You can reach me here: support@markontheiron.com

Here's what I need:

Three general concepts are to be used:

1. Door mazes: like < http://www.logicmazes.com/sliding.html > are mazes with doors that moves in a specific direction when you pass over a certain point.

2. Tunnel mazes: like < http://dynamicmazes.webs.com/CrossingPathMazes.html > are mazes with dead ends but with path to cross between them.

3. Interactive tunnel mazes: like < http://dynamicmazes.webs.com/DynamicMazes.html > are mazes with dead ends with paths to cross them that became active when you pass over a certain point.

Of each i will need:
- 6 5x8 mazes;
- 24 10x15 mazes;
- 6 20x30 mazes.

So in total I will need 108 mazes. They need to be made with increasing steps of difficulty. A method of calculating difficulty could be the numbers of steps needed to reach the end of the maze.

The final design can be in any format you prefer, you can even design it on paper and then send me the scans.

Each maze must have only one possible path and obviously for each maze I will need the solution.

Regards

    There are tons of free maze generators online.

    @osucowboy18: My budget is around 500$.

    @tenrdrmer: Yes, I have a couple of them but they are for plain classic mazes and not for the ones I need.

    Well I'm sorry to burst your bubble but there are already SOOOO many maze apps on the App Store that your's might slip through the cracks. Although it is a great idea, your game is similar to all the other maze apps on the App Store. With such a competitive market, it is better to either be the best at creating an app, or the first. Its much easier to be the first person to create a certain style of game, whereas it is much harder to be better than all the other devs creating the same basic game. My advice would be to consider creating a new app. I'd sure hate to see you put so much effort and work into this project only for it to fall through the cracks due to the amount of competition. Just my two cents, good luck with whatever you decide to do.

    No bubble bursted, don't worry. I make games mainly for myself and if later they sell something I'm happy.

    When I'm about to start a new project I think of what I would like to play and not what would sell. I learn a lot making this games and I work hard to polish them because I see them as "my preciousssssesss" and not because they sell.

    Ohh gotcha :) Even though this is a hobby for me and not a full time job (yet), I create my apps with the intent of making some money off it, but given your situation, I wouldn't worry about competition. I would love to help you out, but I'm incredibly busy with my latest project. As tenrdrmer said, I would search online more to see if you could find something that would best suit your needs. Best of luck with it.
