I like the addition of the artist, black cloud monster, and the push back effect for perfect shape drawing. I think you need a how-to-play page or something on the main menu that explains this game mechanic though. Otherwise, players may not understand why they are losing.
I didin't read the whole topic, but maybe you should add a small backstory? Simple like in Tiny Wings. You could also make an intro with the story or something like that.

Thats the plan...something simple and quick but just set the scene...
Updated the look/layout of the main play screen....Also changed how the scoring works.
One point for each star collected, if you draw a perfect shape stars are the worth 2, 2 perfects in a row they are worth 3 etc etc... if you don't draw perfect they go back to being worth 1.
By the way, I noticed that on your second screen, I think you have "draw a long a line" instead of "draw along a line". Also, just for helpfullness sake, on the front screen, you might want to say, "draw along the line" maybe?
I have the buttons ready and tested for GameCentre (Eeeek!!!!! :-) , some more shapes, new music (added this evening ???) , touch trail on every scene, volume controls in options, links to other games, animated in some buttons, more scribble transitions, achievements (no unlockables just yet), high score...and lots of little bug fixes... still some tidying to do (text aligning on the completion numbers), a pause button to fix, instructions to make, and hopefully a back story to animate and add in....(but that might have to come in an update...with a link to youtube?)
wait what? pro members have access to custom loading screens? I am a pro member. never heard that haha. I thought the only trick to custom loading screens was set the alpha to 1 on an image that says loading right before you change scenes.

For anyone else interested, yes I made the splash screen, using after effects. Its more online with my day job of doing motion graphics work. If anybody is interested in a custom loading screen, please let me know.
Cheers, I'm happy with how it looks, and it plays ok for what it is... I'll hopefully add a back story for the artist at somepoint. Perhaps I'll do that with a promo video on Youtube and add a link to it from the game..

Yeah I want to get back on that project too... potentially a much better game...

Added 3 lives to the game, possibly going to make it two with the 3rd as a collectable bonus item...
Also added an additional pause menu
And tweaked a bit of animation...

I've submitted version 1 of the game to apple...
So much more I could have added to the game...but since it was only supposed to be a 2 week project when it started... its had enough time spent on it

Did you see I added in your two typo requests... :-)
But time and effort have got the better of me and I'm now just eagar to get it on the app store...and start tinkering with other ideas...
I'll update this a couple of times though hopefully to somehow make it more fun to play...
In all honesty I think it could do with more fun gameplay...
