Video of gameplay?

My music/sound guy wants me to make a video of me playing my game so he gets an idea of what the game is about. What's some good software for this? Is there anything that's already on my MacBook? I have a FlipVideo and might film me playing the game that way, but I'm not sure how that's going to look.

    you can open quicktime then click file from the menu bar then new screen recording. Thats free and come on your macbook
