Splash screen. How to

Hi there,
I got my hands on the pro version of GS. Now when getting ready to publish it asks me about the image to be used, but with no active options from the images I have (png , jpg, gif). So. What should that image used in the splash screen format, what it should be?or am I doing something wrong?

    It needs to be a 480x320 ( or 320x480 ) 72dpi png. For iPhone use

    Havent used this new option yet, does this mean one has to delete their splash screen from in their game and utilize this new feature? If I leave it in my game would it show up twice?

    What about the iPad?
    1024 x786?

    It needs to be 1024x748 or 1004x768 for portrait!
    I didnt understand why its size is smaller then the screen? Do they still add something about gamesalad, in the splash screen?

    Yes, it would show up twice.

    No, that's why its custom. If your a pro member, you get to pick the image that goes IN PLACE OF the GS splash screen.

    Sucks That you can't animate or put in movie file but I guess you could put in a basic splash screen then on the first scene do an animated scene which after a couple seconds goes to the menu scene. But maybe that would just frustrate your users.

    funny...I can get the iphone splash to load....but not the ipad? perhaps are the dims different than above?
