I managed to get my game down to 15 MB today (according to the GS project manager), but the file I received back from the GS server is exactly 20MB as a zip file and 24MB uncompressed. Does this mean it will not be under the 20MB limit? How can I know this for certain (besides finding out after the update)?

yeah, trying to find the size of my game was really random. GS tells me its around 19mb, the file I got back was almost 30mb and when I put my ad hoc build in itunes it said it was exactly 20.0mb. So I guess the only way to know for sure is when its in the app store and it says what size it is.

@ tshirt, which screenshots are you talking about, like the ones of each scene in the creator (how do you remove those?) or the 5 screenshots you put in to GS when publishing your game?
