Triggers
Hello GS'ers,
I want to have enemies in my level, and I want to put them in the scene(s), so there is no spawning (i'm trying to limit that). I don't want them to all come at one time to my hero, so I would add a trigger. No to do this, I just put an invisible actor in there, and change the scene actor, and when my hero crosses that actor, it triggers say bad guys1 - 4 to move towards my guy, is that correct?
If that's how I do that, then my second part to this is, can I get an actor to be triggered to move towards my hero and then stop? So when my hero trips the trigger, 4 bad guys walk on the scene, and two of them actually go after the hero, but two stay back (in a distance) and shoot at my hero. Would I have to go into those particular actors, and the two that stay, when tripwire A is true, rule #1 move for 3 seconds, rule #2 after 4 seconds, move speed to Zero., change image to Fire, shoot bullets.
