?

Anybody know of a way to do this? It is going to save me a huge amount of work if I can. I had similar thread but it only solved the problem of changing my score, when really I had a slew of problems I didnt even know I had to deal with. (i.e. my spawner is still at the level of difficulty where it left off, game over is still on the screen, etc). I need to reset this scene but my game.score is also on this scene, so if I reset this BEFORE i get to my high score scene, I will lose the players score.

All that to say, I need reset a scene without the player being in it lol

just have 2 score attribute, level score and level high score or something. BEfore you change scenes change levelhighscore to level score, then change levelscore to 0. So when you change the scene youll reset the score and such but still have the score for it stored it its levelhighscore attribute

Ya that would work, but i still have all the drama with my gameplay scene (I only have one scene where the game is played) I still have all this spawning going on under all these different conditions, text popping up under certain conditions, and even if I solve the scoring issue, when the player is redirected to the main menu after viewing their score from the high score menu after losing....when they click "new game" again the game state is still where it left off when they lost. I am afraid there is no getting around me having to reset this scene when they lose so it is fresh to play again when they start another round.

I have only seen the first of four of TSB's scoring tutorials. I am about to go review the other 3 to see if he covers a similar situation.
