GameSalad needs a Bubble Ball
I compared traffic to Ansca Mobile and GameSalad...

GameSalad is catching up. It would probably be in the lead if not for the Bubble Ball spike. I think that's why GameSalad should offer a bounty... something like a $10,000 reward or lifetime Pro Subscription to the first GameSalad game that goes #1 in Paid, Free or Grossing in the iTunes App Store.
When other developers learned about Bubble Ball, they learned about Corona. To get the community growing, it needs a hit game... a #1 game.

Oh and anyone wanting to literally make bubble can start from my nice bubble ball template. Sorry couldn't resist the obvious plug.

If BOT fails to hit #1, I have another plan.
Heh, I don't have to be the next Angry Birds or Tiny Wings... Even the next Fruit Ninja or Cut The Rope is enough to retire comfortably.
Regardless of the goals for my project, shouldn't GameSalad be encouraging people to built excellent games? I think that's the best form of marketing for GameSalad.
because most people who do their own app by themselves cut corners to get it out there. They will say, ok I have solid art, I will just not spend as much time on gameplay so I can submit it. or buy a template and just replace art.
So I think there should be more teaming up ya know. working as groups. Sure, the profit splits arent as great, but more apps, and the chance of more success (IMO) would make up for it(IMO). haha.
I'm going to think about this. I think I have a great idea for a team project.
This bothers me because I think the idea is a good one.
Maybe when the other project is finished I could share the idea with the community. It could be a fun Summer project.

Making an animation is VERY VERY time consuming, even more so than making a game BUT, to get to the point, I have NEVER seen a group project see the light of day.
For some reason, internet collaborations don't work? Don't know why that is.
I would love to work on games with other local developers because then, a much more polished game or app would be the result but ... it's not in the cards.
It would be great if someone could find that golden formula where like minded people could find each other and pull on one string ... all the way
