Default.png file is greyed out - No way to get rid of default splash screen.

I just purchased the PRO version.

When I go through the publish process, it appears to work fine but I am currently not able to add my custom splash screen.

The GameSalad logo appears if I leave it blank.

Is there an 'advanced options' er, option? Have you clicked on it?

    QS :D

Edit - also, it may take a little while for your pro licence to be processed. Log in and out of both the website and creator tool too. And check in the creator that you have pro behaviours (which will confirm the licence has been activated to pro)

    Thanks for the reply.

I checked the behaviors and it appears it is activated. The link and iAd behaviors show up.

However the Default.png file continues to be greyed out.

    @tshirtbooth,

Yes. I've been able to successfully publish an adhoc build straight to testflightapp.com but with the GS logo screen.

But when I do click the Advance button, it does show a dialog box but the Default.png file is greyed out.

I've attempted different dimensions such as 480x320, 960x640 and variations of that.

I've turned off/on alpha channel support and saved out from bit depth 8 to 32.

The only thing that I can see at this point is that my portfolio is overrun with tests and I need to get rid of them. There doesn't appear to be a obvious way to delete my test files atm. Would that have adversely affected the function?

    [SOLVED]

    It appears that:

    1. The final resolution size must be 320x480. I did try 960x640 but that didn't work.
    2. Check your DPI, it must be exactly 72 DPI and not 71.8 or some odd number.
    3. If the program you use automatically saves out a Colorsync profile, then you need to get rid of that.

If all else fails, get a hold of a previous project that did work and try to plug in those values. A bit hackish, but that is how I figured this one out.

This is not a GameSalad issue.

Thanks for clearing that up, Jtadeo - and for giving a detailed response so that others might benefit from the knowledge!

Mine is also greyed out - i made a file exactly at 72dpi in photoshop and made it the resolution listed above but it is still greyed out. Ive made sure im logged in - pro behaviours does appear so that is working but i cant pick a custom splash. Any ideas ?

edit: resolution was wrong - damn you have to have it just right so it shows up eh :-)
