"Joystick" for movement?

Anyone know of a good post, video, or instruction area that can show me how to make a "Joystick" for player movement in a top-down shooter/adventure type game?

hit the new tab when u open up gamesalad and search joystick control

Literally all those links on the GS are broken links. None of them work...

Anyone know where else I can get a quick demo.

doc, im not talking about searching. Im saying open the gamesalad creator app, hit the new tab, type in joystick control, and double click it. THe project will then open for you
