I have actors fall from the top of the screen, but i don't know how to make them spin, w/out veering off course and hitting the sides of my scene, can i make it stay on course and spin at the same time

Have you tried using the Rotate (http://gamesalad.com/wiki/behaviors_reference:rotate) behaviuour which gives you a constant rotation either clockwise or counter-clockwise along with a set speed?

I have, but when i do this, as well as turning the amount, it also goes that way

The behavior you are using to move must be set to "relative to actor." Change it to "relative to scene" then you can rotate without it changing the trajectory.

thx, but how do i set it to rotate relative to scene, as there is no option in the behaviour to do so

no in your move att make it reletive to scene

yeah in your chg velocity or move rule (whichever you're using) next to direction click "relative to scene".

wait, but what i want for it to do is to spin, do i not use the rotate behavior for this?

just use linear velocity y in the individual actor and turn gravity off more efficient
