A easy Cert./Prov question.

Buddy with GS is making a adhoc. he sent me the Prov file with my udid associated with it. Do I also need a Cert from him? He sent me the app and the Prov. But its saying the prov doesnt have my udid associated with it. Im thinking maybe I need Cert from him as well. But then again Im thinking I dont. whats going on here?
