Zoom Function

Sometimes I have to work with some small actors in a scene. Or sometime I need to adjust the placement of something down to a pixel. It would be very helpful to have a zoom function. I realize can adjust placement in an actor's instance, but it would just be much easier to zoom when placing lots of smaller actors.

Been requested before. Its another one of those things that may possibly be on a list a Game Salad yet it not a priority so who know when or if it will ever come.

    your mac can do this.

press 'command' + 'option' + '8' to turn it on.

then press 'command' + 'option' + '=' to zoom in and command' + 'option' + '-' to zoom out.

If you want to change the way this works (like setting it to follow the mouse) then go in to the universal access button in system preferences.

Or even better set a key and the scroll wheel for it. I think the default is ctrl and the mouse scroll.

I would like to zoom out too so I could see the whole ipad screen size in the creator without scrolling on my 13" MBP

Just wanted to add a +1 to this suggestion

When working with large scenes it would be nice to be able to zoom out to see the whole thing instead of scrolling around.
  • I like that the mac has this functionality built in, but it would still be very nice to have it build into game salad as well.
