No loading time template

Say what...

Yes this template has everything you need to start your next game, but this time no more annoying load times.

The Game engine memory sits at 13.5MB as-is that leaves you plenty of room to build on.

I think it will work best for puzzle type games but you can make that call for your self.

It has a main menu with several links to things like credits and extras.

It is set up to handle 10 stages with 10 levels in each.(with a simple level unlocking system)

It has a full reset and replay system.

It also uses the new pause feature in a cool memory management way.(slight loading time because of GS pause feature)

I have set up actors in ten of the levels as samples to see how things work.
I have also left several notes throughout the template to help get you started.

Video posted below shows it in action

I plan to put it on sale later today at the intro price of 10 US dollars.

Please email me at asher.ryan@yahoo.com if you would like to be one of the first to buy.

It would be better if you posted a video of it working on a device. Does this guarantee no loading times no matter how many actors/ image or device? Also, is there any difference between this and the method that you posted somewhere the other day?

I will post a video of it on a device later today.
The loading time only happens during your splash screen.

I'm not sure what post you are talking about?

What about when you move onto an actual Level? or is this just a menu thing?
Also what if images are added to all of the actors? does performance go down?

Even from level to level there is no loading.

The only loading is during the pause but that is an issue with GS and I couldn't find a work around, other than the old pause method but that did more harm then good.

Right now there are 50 actors and 70 images in the template and the game engine memory runs 13.5MB

I will post a video of it running on a device after work today.

Looking forward to seeing the video of it on a device. I may be mistaken about the post though.

I can see where you could think that John but I really think I've done it.

I can't claim that someone won't push it to far, but if you follow the rules I've set up you can get a lot out of it.

As requested by many of you here is the template in action on my ipad.

I'd be interested to see that too. You say its 13.5Mb Game Engine but What about total memory?
Please don't take this as an I think your templates bull sorta thing cause i'm honestly interested in it if you have found a way to do an entire game in one scene with no performance issues.

So for everyone that is still on the fence here is a video of the template in the viewer.

As you can see it runs at
    60 FPS
    13.3-13.5 game
4.0 other (this does change to higher numbers on different loads but never higher then 6.0 that I've seen)...I just don't get what the "other" really is?

I think this is a great starting point to build a good game on.
