Granted in that timespan I've had to learn GS, while also putting together two working proof of concepts. Plus I do things in a very sort of traditional way complete with design documents and development schedules.
I'm making a semi-RPG and it'll probably end up with around 200-400 game.attributes. :-)
I'd suggest getting some of Darren's tools to help with it. Especially the optimizer.

I finished my first and only game PLOP Master (out soon) in 2,5 months, working evenings and weekends. If it had been another type of game, where I would have to design lots of levels for it, I think I would have to add a month or two of development time.. If somebody else had made graphics, music and FX then I would save some time..

So far I haven finished any games (yet), the closest I've gotten is my TOTB2 entry which you can read about here

but I would think about 3 months for an Ifinate game, about 7 for a leveled game w/o your own art, but thats just me!
