Does this simply mean you can input a HTML link that opens up in the Devices safari browser?

Are links, iAdd and custom loading screen the only thing different in PRO version or is there something else?

Those are important of course, just wondering..

Links are nice. Iads Im not really convinced iAds is a money maker. And Im wondering just whats the real differnce between standard tech and the other tech support. thats alot for 499. oh plus no GS splash screen.

Jeffnichols: custom splash alone is worth 499! ;)
I think there is some negativity associated with GS games - not for regular every day user though, 99.9% of appstore buyers never heard of GS and don't care.. but that 0.1% is the 0.1% of users who write reviews! And if you can remove GS label, that's totally worth 499 i think - if you have them that is! ;)

Totally agree with what you said... In fact I was going through some of the new reviews of zombie drop by TSB and I read that zombie drop is a very good app compared from what you normally see in gamesalad. or that gamesalad games are no good etc.

So you can see people expect low graphics and crappy games when they see the GS splashscreen. But can you blame them really? Dont get me wrong there are lots and lots of great games created with gamesalad.. But I see A LOT of crappy games that need waay more polish from people who think they are going to sell thousands just from being on the appstore.

If you ask me.. GS should cost 100 bucks for everyone.. that way only the "serious" developers will stay and deliver good games.

    just my two cents..

    dashnevada: i totally agree..
the ratio of crappy vs good games is alarming.. and it's a sad truth that people know GS for bad games.. too bad since its totally awesome tool that allows you to make soooo much in such a short time!!!
That's why that alarming ration i guess..

Id gladly pay 499 a year if I was at the point to where i knew the gs coding like the back of my hand. Im not there yet. I dont want to put out anything crappy. My first apps might be basic coding. But its a start. Here is my first app to be released soon. Still have some images to add and some coloring to fix. Oh and adding audio this thursday. Paying 40$ for a Sound booth time. For the A..A is for Apple style audio.

Worth remembering that with the 'Open URL' behaviour you can't form the html from within the app so all links must be previously written. You could still have hundreds of links but you cant 'write' the link using a function.

once you have pro is the only way of telling that the app was made in GS by the little grey loading square with the white spinning circle in it?
