Alright im kinda new to both gamesalad and 2d stuff in general. I am a 3d game designer that went into 3d straight from starting. Anyways since im new to 2d im not quite familiar in ways this is done.

Im currently using Illustrator for the 2d stuff. So I was wondering how do you guys do animation ? Do you guys do create different .png files or so with different moves and than add all those pngs into gamesalad and create frames ?

Or within the project file in illustrator create different layers and create the movement , than export as swf? Does gamesalad accept swf?

The swf i was refering to this tutorial i found in the internet. Is this way a good way to do animation for gamesalad? http://www.tutorialized.com/view/tutorial/How-to-create-a-simple-Animation-in-Illustrator/43756

you have to save each frame of the animation as a .png and then let GameSalad do the work for animating the images.

Also please in the future use a title for your post that has to do with the subject or question being discussed. You can check out the rules and guidlines sticky post for other ways you can help keep this forum as awesome an useful as possible.
