Hey guys.
I'm about to buy the resize tool, to make my game for ipad quicker. Just wanted to know if you guys recommend it. Does it really save you that much time? Do the images look pixeleated or bad quality when resized?
Thank you

I'd do a search in the marketplace for it and I'm sure users have purchased it and posted "reviews" of it in there.
Good luck!
It sVed me an incredible amount of time and was worth every penny.
That being said, you only should buy it if your iPhone / iPad game has been successful and you want to capture another market. If you're only making a fe dollars a week, it will take a long time to recoup your costs

I'll leave you with this: I made iPhone version in about 2-3 months (only in GS). With GS Resizer Tool I made iPad version in 5 hours (I had to change and fix a few things).
There's a couple of videos on deepblue showing you how fast it is to make another version of your game.
We've had emails from customers telling us it's saved them up to 3 months work!
Darren.
Saves A LOT of work and time when converting something.
That being said, don't expect to not do any work at all, but like I say. Rather then 2 weeks work, I converted a game in around 2 hours.
Are they just stretched, like what you can do in Photoshop?
Should you just start with a higher resolution sprite/graphics just incase you plan to use this tool and convert the game to an iPad?
Steve
If not.. you will have to go through and sort out the graphics.
tip. If are going down from ipad to iphone and your in game graphics are too large in memory, check the display size in the actor, double clicking on the graphics in your game file, and if you have them auto open in photoshop, set up a photoshop action to size the original files to the new display size, then with one click you should be able to resize to the new sprite size, and save them back into the file. Works a treat for me.
