Looking for someone to pull game together

gar.agar.a Member Posts: 6
I'm looking to create a game similar to angry birds and need someone to to pull it together for me. I will supply all the artwork.

Here's what's needed...

Character launches an item over/through/around/etc level obstacles.
Goal is to get the item to a final target. There will be a choice of 4 characters to play.
8-10 levels of increasing difficulty, plus a "training level" tutorial on how to play the game.
5 lives total.
The thing is the first level is needed for the 21st of this month with the rest following behind.
At the moment the game is only going to be dropped into a php webpage.
If you're interested can you pm me with your quote

There are Angry Birds templates very close to release you might want to wait for them....
I think deep blue ideas and or Tshirt booth are making some excellent ones. All you have to do is add art.

Cheers ozboybrian, I saw tshirtbooth's template video on YouTube. The thing is we're totally new to Gamesalad and the gaming scene in general. We would be more comfortable working with someone who knew their way around the program rather than committing to creating the game ourselves in such a short turnaround.
    Any ideas/suggestions?

I'm posting this a few times a day, but first start watching all these youtube tutorials, there is a ton of great stuff:

then take a look at these demos, pick them apart, see how they work:

if you spend some time and really focus on those, you'll have a great foundation on how to work with GS. You'd be surprised how easy it is to work with.

Just wanted to make sure you were aware that you can embed the game in a web page but it will only be viewable by people using Safari on a Mac with the Gamesalad plugin.

Cheers jonmulcahy, I may have to do as you suggest but that would be a very last straw option. This is a paying job so I would hope there's some interest from members in pitching for it?

You can try over at Clickteam: http://www.clickteam.com/epicenter/

MMF2 is similar to GS and has an flash exporter. Physics is not that good though.

Thanks for your help guys! We're going to go with Unity3d on this one but it's great to discover something like Gamesalad; we'll be looking into this program in a lot more detail.

    Cheers.
