I was just wondering how all of you guys find developing games with gamesalad. For me as a whole it can be ruddy stressful, especially when you cannot figure something out. The satisfaction of everything coming together neatly though it great. I'm nearly finished on my second title and should be finished in the next week so tonight I decided to work with a bottle of red wine. It has made the whole process a lot more relaxing and enjoyable. So if you're of legal age ;) try it out.

At first I thought it was gonna be very simple especially with a tool like GameSalad but I quickly realized it's not easy making a full finished game. You got art, animation, sound effects, music etc etc and it's pretty difficult if your doing all the work :p

I'm working on the most complex game I have ever attempted, and it's been an exercise in enjoyment and massive headaches. I've almost given up twice, and almost switched engines three times. I'm glad I stuck with GS though, if I had to start over I wouldn't be anywhere near done.

Sometimes I just have to take a break for a few weeks and do something else. In Feb I converted two games to the Mac App store just to take my mind off of this project.

months after i gotten a new macbook and installed GS, yet to publish any games lolz. Really alot of headaches since i do this after work. Tiring at times with kids around to pester you non stop. Well it's an experience i will gladly trade off to a great game that could come out from GS.
