Hello. I'm relatively new to the Gamesalad community so I just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Ed Booth and I work as an illustrator/Animator for a company called Powerhouse Animation here in Austin. I have a ton of experience in character design/animation and background art. I can't show most of my work due to non disclosure agreements but you can check out some of my personal work here.

I am very interested in teaming up with someone that is highly knowledgeable with Gamesalad to create a particular game idea I have for the iphone/ipad. If you have created and published Gamesalad games (and not just tweaked someone else's templates) then please feel free to contact me at edbooth3@gmail.com to hear more about what kind of game I am interested in creating. If I find the right person to help me I would be willing to provide all the artwork and animation for the game for a percentage of the profits. I am also available for freelance work if you are interested in purchasing any artwork and or animation for whatever project you may be working on.

Thanks for listening and I hope I get to meet some aspiring game creators.

-Ed

Awesome looking artwork. I'm gonna need some battle backgrounds for my next game so I may send you an email in a few weeks. I don't suppose you live in the Canada area? lol

Nice work Ed!! I like your characters.. crusader and "biker" especialy! :)

I can just see the short about the "biker", leading his normal every day life now that the war is over.. he lives in a suburbia somewhere, wife and two kids.. but on a weekends he goes for a ride with his harley riding friends.. he's riding his speeder bike of course and he wears a uniform and a helmet as a reminder of a good old days when the Empire was still great :)

hmmm.. im wondering.. is it ok to make a game about the character dressed like Trooper riding a Speeder bike around a suburbia? Is that copyright infringement?? Can they copyright the look of characters and vehicles??

I really like this image and i really have sooo many ideas on how to use this in out of SW context! :)))

I would think that Star Wars Storm Troopers and speeder bikes are copyrighted. As they are toys, dolls etc, each character will have their own individual copyright. If your storm trooper was in a black suit riding a hover trike you might be ok.
