problem viewing actors please help

i am building a platform game and was in the process of testing one of my levels when i noticed some of the actors werent visible. They still have the same properties (my player can jump on them, etc.) but they dont show up. you can see them in the editor but when you press preview they disappear. please help.

    Maybe you have them on a layer behind something else?

    they are behind an invisible actor that allows my player to stand on them but i don' t see how that would make a difference
