Newbie Question about Sliding Puzzle

I have a sliding puzzle app that I need help with. My scene has 3 rows by 5 columns of the same actor.

I'd like to randomly assign pictures to these actors or pre-assign the actors pictures and randomly position them. What would be the best way, and how would i do it?

might have to start creating individual actors im afraid (once you've got the rules sorted on the prototype of course)...although I would prefer someone else to chime in to confirm..

otherwise you would have to define all those positions with a few rules which is effort
