Animation: How many Frames can I insert into one Actor?
Hello awesome people of the video game future!
So i've got a large actor who's going to run at 2-3 fps.
However, it will have 120 frames or more. Will this make the game Crash or is it ok since its just a few fps?
Thanks Guys!

Could someone confirm if GameSalad converts images internally?
You can get away with 2-3 frames for a run with small sprites, but the larger your character gets, the more ropey and jerky its going to look.
Id suggest a better way of doing it would be to have an 8-10 frame loopable animation for the character run, that you can then change the RGB colour of to give the daylight changing effect. Have a 2nd actor with the animated shadow below the main character that you can stretch its height/width to give different time of day effect.
So that would be like 16-20 frames total, across 2 actors, and would give you more flexibility, with the colour changes/transparency changes/size changes you could do to the actors.
Edit: I just noticed you said it has the sky in the actor too... so it sounds like your playing a scene image animation, rather than an individual character running animation?
In which case, my suggestion above isnt really going to work for you..
