How do you contain the excitement?

My new game is getting closer and closer to completion everyday. I can barely contain my excitement and I want to share the game with the world! But I can't yet, I must keep it secret, keep it safe. What do you guys do to refrain from spilling your beans? (That sounds weird, oh well.)

Here have a lord of the rings remix to go along with my movie reference. :)

I tell my friends about it, and chat with those I'm making the game with - art and sound guys mainly!

It's great fun, and sometimes you really do want to yell about stuff!

Air Supply: SOS, for example, will have unlocks in it, as that's part of the 'series' if you will. But there's other stuff you unlock too, which will really add to the game I think!

I'd love to spill the beans, but I won't! :D

    QS :D

I feel the SAME way right now. When you have a good idea, want to share, but can't. It really sucks. BUT in the end, it will pay off.

I'm rubbish... and just spill the beans on this very forum normally in a thread about the game...In a way hoping to get more better ideas back from fellow GS users... a bit too chilled to worry about anyone stealing a good idea... though I have got an idea for my next game, already saved the name with apple... the name is awesome, the gameplay idea is growing...

Im about to post the game im working on also.. i put Penguins on hold for a while, im gonna release this new free game first.. im gonna post it here to see what people think and like Stormy said, maybe get some good ideas along the way. And its a weekend project, so not too attached to it (yet)..

Im not at all worried about somebody stealing the idea, even if somebody makes exactly the same game as mine, i dont really care.. There are gazillion clones of Angry birds out there and gazillion clones of every successful game.. hardly any game is really original, sooo.. im not worried about that :)

Excitement.. its always there.. from when you got you first test enemy to shoot at you and you go "this is awesooooome!!!!" to the end when you go "wowww, this turned out a nice game.." no need to contain it, just scream! ;)

I'm looking forward to showing off BOT. Here's what stops me from sharing more information right now...

1 - It's possible that my ideas will be copied.
2 - It's not ready... a finished game is more presentable.
3 - I'm too busy to make a good video.
