I'm working on a really tedious part of building BOT, and I'm using a cool trick to make things easier. Maybe you'll like it. Basically, it feels like Star Trek to me. I can hear Patrick Stewart say, "Computer: Magnify" when I use it.

OK, here are the details.

In a Photics.com article, I posted about Hitboxes
Hitboxes – Using Rectangles To Make Complex Shapes

It's a good way to add complex shapes to GameSalad games. The problem is that it's very tedious work. With millions of pixels in BOT, I'm getting tired of looking at these tiny squares. Isn't there an easier way to do this?

Well, you can zoom the screen. It's part of the Mac OS X functionality.

System Preferences > Universal Settings > Seeing

By pressing apple+alt+8 (It's alt on my Windows Keyboard), the zoom feature can be enabled. By pressing apple+alt and the plus or minus key, you can control the level of zoom.

Considering that I'm being obsessive about my game, I like to line up the boxes as close to perfect as possible... without wasting too much time or using too many hitboxes.

This is an OS feature, so it can work outside of GameSalad.

ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
