    Heh, Flash Media Server software is thousands of dollars though.

    I'm thinking that the server detects the browser / operating system, and then sends the proper format to the device. This can be done now with HTML.

    True, but at least many of the major sites (with$$$) will be accessible to iDevices. It's a start in the right direction, imo.

    From a consumer perspective, this is good news. It means more video!

    From a developer perspective, this is bogus. Adobe is a dinosaur. Spending thousands of dollars to send video to your customers is not the best answer.

    I agree with that, it's also a resource hog.
