If it's what you do on a daily basis and you have the skillzzz to create then it will be much faster vs. someone who is trying to learn.
Other items to consider is the complexity of your game and the expectations that you've set for your market and yourself. This took me 48 hours to create so I can trial and try GS. It made it on Apple's New & Noteworthy (the sub ones) and it stayed on for over 2 weeks.
I was surprised how easy it was to make with GS. For the more complex interactions, you can purchase a template or download some of the free ones to see how things are created, that can save you time as well.
The Alpha and Beta testing itself is taking one week or more. Not to mention making the GDD.Then process of the character, concept:model:texture:animation of the character. Both of the graphic and development is parallel with lag of maximum about a week.I would say an average of minimum 200 hours.it also depend on the game itself.I am not sure about GS,still new here and a lot to learnt.I believe it can shorten the process timeframe development.
well erm.. i started in september 2010.. then had to learn allot of stuff.. my game went through allot of changes. Im still not finished.. maybe 60% there...
i work full time and have a family though, so i can not always go full out.
