Dear All,
This is my first post, so I am still getting used to GameSalad. Thanks in advance for such a great program and for the help. Sorry for the basic questions.
1. Is it legal to use the images and sounds of the templates that come with GameSalad for commercial porpouses?
2. How can I import those images into a new project? I can see them when I open the templates but when I open a new project they are not there.
3. I found the Deep Blue App website (www.deepblueapps.com), they sell images and sond templates. Would you recommend another professional provider of such products?
4. Would you recommend any text to speech program for the games?
Thank you very, very much,
Best Regards,
Jose

2) Make your own or purchase graphics from royalty free sites or artists (there are a few really good artists on this forum)
3) Check the market place thread towards the top of the forum
4) not sure
Welcome aboard.
1. You cannot use the GS template images in your own games.
2. You would have to save as the template to your hard-drive right click on the project file and choose show package contents and then the images are in the images folder, although not recommended because of the copyright issue (although perfectly fine to use as practice project images).
3. DBA specialise in add-on tools for GS which are great once you advance further, along-side the add-on tools, they also sell templates. These are more based on the mechanics of the game that they are selling but you are able to use the sounds and images provided with their templates for use in your own games. If it is just images and sounds you are looking for and not the game templates there will be better ways to go about it, if I remember correctly, Ian from Debugdesign had an art template for sale (check out the Marketplace section of this forum for other art and sound files).
4. What is it you are looking to do with the text-to-speech? Just create speech sound files that you can use in your game? If so, I've not had much experience with them.
Hope that helps a little.

2. just drag & drop the images from GS to your desktop or wherever ..
4. Built in to OS X
That really helped. I was not sure about the template images and sounds.
