Create Points and Mount Points

How it would appear in the editor

Steps to produce:
1) Place actor in scene
2) clicking actor in scene, buttons appear over actor
3) Buttons are the following: Mount Actor to point, Create point

Creating a point:
1)place actor in scene
2)click actor in scene to make buttons appear.
3)Click the button that appears over the actor that says "Create Point"
4)Click anywhere on the actor to create a point. You can place up to ten points anywhere on an object.
Note: Points do not appear in gameplay and do not appear in the editor unless the actor is clicked on (selected).

Mounting an actor to a point.
1)place two actors in the scene
2)click actor in scene to make buttons appear.
3)Click the button that appears over the actor that says "Create Point"
4)Click anywhere on the actor to create a point.
5) Repeat steps 1-4 with the second actor.
6)Click on the second actor and click the button that appears over it that says "mount actor"
7)All mounting points will appear and you must select one.
8) Once selected the actor will move with the mouse until you click on another actors mount point.
9) the actors will be connected together

Features for using Mount Points:
1) Adding physics to the pieces with pointing points as joints so you can make "ropes."
2) Switching a characters weapon in and out

This is in many game engines and should be included with Gamesalad
