you mean like play multiple strings at once or change the notes each of your sting sounds make?

Either way you are gonna need a good understanding of how music works and play with the pitch setting of each sound to get what you want.

I don't know if you could do that but you could try to figure out when string a,b,c is pressed play sound coard

What i'm saying is to make true "cords" you are going to have to know enough about music and sound to manipulate the pitch of the 6 string sounds to create each cord based on what fret they are touching that string at. Otherwise you will need a sound file for each string on each fret of the guitar which is probably not the best way to work it out.

There have been some pretty good music apps developed with GameSalad but they take a pretty good knowlege of music and sounds to get them right.

Yes you can, but it take quite a lot of work to make it work ok, and even more to make it work really well. You will have to decide if you are using multiple samples to create the chord from, or chords sampled. Then fire them based on touched areas. Start simple and get a row of buttons firing different samples of sound, and work your design towards a fretboard once you have got it working.

Also look/listen at how the samples are recorded for other guitar games and apps. There need to be consistency to the set of samples so they work together.

    good luck

I figured out away to do it.

what I did was, first I pushed my chair away from my desk went upstairs to where my guitar is and wailed around on the thing for a few hours, then i forgot all about needing an app for that.

    Hope this helps.

I hate to be the negative one here but if that the case then you should pick a new project. What you want to do requires a mathematical knowledge of music and sounds. Im sorry but if you don't understand that stuff then you need to study that or move to a new project.
