Stealing ideas...

I was just wondering, I was playing a flash game earlier and I really think it would work great on the app store. Is there anything legally stopping me from using the same sort of art style and game mechanic.

    Thanks TSB! Sweet, I have a bunch on new ideas to throw into as well. My new project is decided. Off to work I gooooo!!!!! ( Won't get started until after my exams :/ )
