Importance in release dates? Specifically updates and lite versions.

My update for Sketch Ball and the lite version have been approved. I'm wondering if it matters when I release these or if I should just go ahead and do it. From what I can see most people believe that Thursday is the best day for release but does that rule carry over in this case?

nope just let it go. Updates don't give you a bump anywhere in the listings so I would just go ahead unless you are waiting for timing of some other event related to your app like a price drop until the update or getting a contest together to go with the update.
