Release now?

I submitted my app last week I think on Tuesday thinking it would take to around Thursday to get ready to release and such I gave it that as a targeted release date.
So should I just release now or wait until Thursday? I was thinking Thursday as it seems to be the best day to release apps. If I do wait until then will my app still appear in new releases though?
