Picture for background

Can I use a wallpaper I found on google for my games background? I was going to edit it with the smudge tool so it wouldn't be recognizable..

    You shouldn't, but if you do, you had better make VERY unrecognizable... like, new art unrecognizable.

    Respect the the work that the person who created that put into it, and hire a graphic designer or learn how yourself. That will be a benefit in the long run anyways.
