ipad Resolution issue

So I made some art to the 1024x768 resolution specification. However when I put it in Game Salad it comes out at 245x180. When I try and put it to 1024x768 it becomes distorted. Im Using photoshop for my program.

Did I do something wrong?

I think you have to make your DPI 72 or it will do crazy things like that.

Yes you should be saving as png 24 dpi 72 i believe

Ive looked for a way to export this from photoshop. Does anybody know a way. I can't seem to find one

just save it as a png

or choose save for web and devices

both SHOULD work.

The save as web devices worked. Have I found a bug? What do we need to know about exporting.

Save for Web should tag the file 72dpi by default.

However, Image>ImageSize will let you tag the file before saving, but make sure you have Resize Image checked OFF.

no bug. Gamesalad images need to be 72 dpi. When you export, it doesnt change it for you, when you save for web it automaticlly puts to 72 dpi for you
