How can I change camera zoom without affecting HUD elements?

I have my HUD elements on a separate layer which is set to be non-scrollable. When I zoom the camera out by changing the scene.camera.size.width and scene.camera.size.height attributes everything on screen will zoom out accordingly, including the HUD elements. How can I zoom the camera out whilst keeping these HUD elements at their original size? Cheers.

You can't. What u need to do is have a attribute that's turned on when u zoom in. Then when that attribute is on you adjust the size and positions of everything else accordingly. I know it's a pain lol

Ah that just sounds like a massive headache, I need to zoom out whilst panning to follow a projectile. I'm gonna need to be some kind of maths ninja to work that out for each actor. Having a Dedicated HUD layer in gamesalad which doesn't obey camera zoom sounds like a very handy feature, I might go request that. Cheers.

Yes I was hoping to find a fix for this because my game zooms in/out a lot and for the HUD to shrink and run around and not touch properly looks REALLY unprofessional. We talked about it a few days ago and I created a suggestion as well. Please add in your frustration as this really needs to be updated in the next update.

I've added my thoughts to that thread. I can see how the HUD could be fixed with constraints etc but I'm not too sure how this would work with panning going on as well. Looks like I have some experimenting to do. cheers.
