The 72-hour Game Jam Thread

Instead of our usual monthly game challenge, we'll be doing something a bit different in January. You've probably heard about the Global Game Jam (http://globalgamejam.org/) taking place January 29-31. Well put your rapid-prototyping hats on, because it's Game Jam warmup time!
We'll provide you with a bit of artistic inspiration, which you can use however you see fit. Your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to turn that spark into a game in only 72 hours. Focus on creative gameplay -- we're not looking for a finished product so much as a game concept that knocks us off our feet!
Read more about rapid prototyping here:

Rules:
1. To enter the contest, upload your GameSalad game to the website, then link it in this thread. Multiple entries are encouraged!
2. Keep it PG-13. Be mindful that kids use GameSalad, too!
3. Don't use art or music that you don't have the right to use.
4. There won't be an official "winner" this month. But I'll be writing quite a few blog posts to follow this experiment, so everyone who submits a fun game can expect some extra publicity.
The first 72-hour game jam begins tonight at midnight CST.

Without further ado, here is your artistic inspiration for the first 72-hour game jam:

You have until Thursday, January 7 at 11:59pm CST. Good luck!
XMB - Xtreme Mountain Busing!

Crazy Bus Ride brings a nice twist to the classic avoid-em-up with its cinematics, simple but well done!
XMB is a wild ride once you get the hang of the unusual controls, it reminds me a little bit of a very old motocross Mac game I used to play. Clearly Scitunes puts student safety first...
The next round starts goes through Sunday, January 10 at 11:59pm CST. See what you can make of these little critters:

I had some bad news today. Don't ask.
So I went out and got 'unbearably wonderful' with my friends.
I'm drunk. It's gone 3am. My head hurts. I'll regret this in the morning.
But while I'm in this state, here's my entry, done in an hour:

This is not a game. This is a stream of consciousness, under the influence.
It can be funny. It can be sad. It can be life.
It is 'Unbearably wonderful'.
What it all means, in the end, is up to you.

@KT - It's actually part of a trilogy (now!) of very personal stuff I'm making. We'll see how it all goes
Cheers for the kind words,

Our artist has NOT been cooperative I'm afraid. You hear me, Eric? NOT COOPERATIVE! Five demerits!
In all seriousness, our artist really is swamped so I'm gonna give you something of my own:

This round will last through Friday, January 15 at 11:59pm CST.
P.S.: While the previous assets were created specifically for this competition, this one is a pre-existing piece of music, so I feel compelled to state the following: I, Conor Brace, hereby grant all GameSalad users a non-exclusive license to use my composition and sound recording "8-bit Adventure," in whole or in part, in any game published to GameSalad.com.
Please provide credit ("music by" or "additional music by" as appropriate) should your game be published elsewhere.

A unicycle and a banana.
Go.
This round will last through Monday, January 18 at 11:59pm CST.
But if you're in the mood to make something quick and quirky, feel free to post -- you have a retro chiptune, a unicycle, and a banana at your disposal.
